Eldritch Blast: 5E Cantrip

This is the best Warlock cantrip with its 1d10 beam of damage, with more beams added at levels 5, 11, and 17. You can even target mutliple targets once you get more than one beam.

And, the Eldritch invocation Agonizing Blast on page 110, that can be taken at level 2, lets you add your CHA modifier to the damage on each beam. No other cantrip to my knowledge lets you add a modifier to increase damage. This makes it better than Firebolt’s 1d10 damage. And the way I read it, the damage is going to add to each beam.

This cantrip is a must have cantrip for warlocks and Agonizing Blast is a must have invocation to combine with Eldritch Blast.
