So, I finally have time to sit down and start reading Xanathar’s Guide to Everything, I think I’m going to write some blog posts on each of the new sub classes as well as my thoughts on them. Sub-Class Combat Role Play Path of the Ancestral Guardian The spirit shield and protectors mechanic seems like fun and useful in combat at the same time. I love the idea of Consult the Spirits for role play.
